Over the course of years the stats on Police Brutality had risen to an all time high. So when you come into a problem such as Police Brutality you should remember your rights. You can also ask for resistance when or if you are being detained, handcuffed or dealing with any sort of police matter. Police Brutality Statistics

As we all know police may be known for "Defending" the people. Is this true? well from the looks of the chart there is more incidents with the police not doing their duties. Showing in the chart there are more cases with the police brutalizing civilians. As you look at the chart you decide exactly what you think the cops actually do more. All that can be said is that the police take their positions and abuse them. They are suppose to have the duty to serve the people but yet they are beating, killing and treating them wrongfully. Police Brutality

On November 8th, 2010 a man by the name of Derrick Jones was gun down by an officer while down on the floor. It was said that the officers only fired because they thought that Jones was reaching for a weapon. After investigation it was found out that Jones was not armed and did not commit any crimes. Due to the death of Mr. Jones a protest was held November 11,2010 at 3 p.m. with a rally in front of Jone's barbershop on Bancroft Avenue, in Oakland. As many people began to gather the first hundred people gathered to hear speakers, the mood of the crowd the mood of the crowd began to get worst.

Daw Aung San Suu Kyi

Aung San Suu Kyi is a pro-democracy opposition leader in Myanmar. Which was formally known as Burma. Aung was under the detention center for almost two decades straight. She was under house arrest  until 2002 and was then arrested again a year later. She was known for gathering crowds everywhere she went. Then in August 2009 she was later convicted of violating the terms of her house arrest after a crazy event in which an American man swam across a lake and spent at least one night on the grounds of her home. She was arrested on numerous occasions due to crowds gathering to celebrate her accomplishments.
